Member Protocol & Code of Conduct

Role and Match – Professional & Discreet Matchmaking Network

Membership at Role and Match is a privilege governed by mutual transparency, discretion, and professional decorum. By using the platform or attending any Role and Match event, you agree to follow this Protocol.

1) Termination and Subscription Rights

Membership is a privilege governed by mutual transparency.

  • The Right to Exit (BGB § 312k):
    Members may terminate their production budget (subscription) at any time via the “Cancel Membership” button located in the Account Sanctuary.

  • Notice Periods / Billing Cycle:
    Cancellations for The Executive, The Manager, and The CEO tiers take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Under the Fair Consumer Contracts Act, automatic renewals are limited to a maximum of one month’s notice.

  • Stealth Termination is not Termination:
    Deleting the application, removing your profile, or “ghosting” does not constitute legal termination of a paid tier. Formal cancellation via the protocol button is required to cease billing.

  • Refunds:
    Pro‑rata refunds are granted exclusively for service failure or legal termination for cause, as defined by German civil law and mandatory consumer protection rules.

2) Youth Protection and Identity Verification (18+)

Role and Match is designed exclusively for adults. To preserve the sanctuary’s integrity and comply with German youth protection standards (including the JMStV), strict age barriers are enforced.

  • Strict 18+ Requirement:
    Access to the Role and Match platform and all physical events is restricted to individuals aged 18 or older. Minors are prohibited from creating accounts, subscribing, or purchasing tickets.

  • Mandatory AVS (Premium Access):
    Access to any tier above The Apprentice requires successful validation through our KJM‑assessed Age Verification System (AVS).

  • Privacy‑First Verification:
    We utilize AI‑driven facial age estimation to confirm adult status (18+). This process is designed to verify age while minimizing the handling of sensitive identity documents.

  • Access Restricted if AVS Fails:
    Members who fail the AVS protocol may be restricted to non‑sensitive Observer areas of the platform to ensure compliance with youth protection standards.

  • Event Entry ID Checks:
    For physical events, a valid government‑issued photo ID may be required at entry. Failure to present acceptable ID may result in denied entry (and may be non‑refundable where legally permissible).

  • Age Misrepresentation:
    Any account found to be operated by a minor, or by an adult providing access to a minor, may be terminated immediately and may be reported to relevant authorities where appropriate.

3) The Elite Conduct Protocol (DSA Alignment)

Under the Digital Services Act (DSA), every member is held to a standard of Professional Decorum.

  • Notice and Action:
    Members have the right and duty to report illegal content or severe protocol breaches. Reports are handled without undue delay by internal moderators.

  • Right of Appeal (DSA Article 20):
    If your profile is restricted, suspended, or “blacklisted” for conduct violations, you have the right to request an internal review and appeal.

  • Anti‑Harassment / Doxxing / Intimidation:
    “Breaking character” to harass, dox, threaten, or intimidate another professional is prohibited. Severe violations may result in immediate termination of access and, for paid tiers, non‑refundable termination where legally permissible.

4) AI Transparency and Matching Logic

We believe in the Master Director approach: AI should assist, not dictate.

  • Algorithmic Transparency (EU AI Act):
    Our matching logic may use Professional Archetype Analysis to suggest synergy. Where applicable, members may request a summary of the parameters used to curate matches and recommendations.

  • Non‑Profiling Option (DSA Article 38):
    Members may opt out of algorithmic profiling and choose discovery modes such as Chronological or Raw Discovery that do not rely on behavioural profiling.

  • AVS Expectations:
    AI is used solely for age estimation and liveness checks to reduce bot interference. It is not used for clandestine emotional profiling.

Core Safety Rules (Applies to Platform + Events)

5) Digital Harassment & Unsolicited Explicit Content (“Nude Harassment”)

  • Sending unsolicited sexually explicit content or engaging in digital sexual harassment is strictly prohibited in profiles, messages, and any Role and Match communication channels.

  • Verified violations may result in immediate suspension, permanent ban, and removal from events.

  • Paid memberships may be terminated without refund where legally permissible.

6) Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)

Role and Match is a protected space. Discrimination, hate speech, or harassment based on protected characteristics (including race/ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, nationality, etc.) is prohibited.

  • Verified violations may result in immediate suspension/ban and event expulsion.

  • Paid memberships may be terminated without refund where legally permissible.

7) Consent & Physical Boundaries (Events)

A costume, persona, or archetype is never an invitation for physical contact.

  • Non‑consensual contact, aggressive behaviour, or severe disruption can result in immediate expulsion by security and a permanent platform ban.

  • Tickets and related costs may be non‑refundable where legally permissible.

8) Right to One’s Own Image (Recht am eigenen Bild)

  • Do not publish identifiable photos/videos of other members without explicit consent.

  • Professional photography commissioned by Role and Match is governed by a separate media release/consent process.

  • Violations may result in suspension/ban and potential legal action.

9) Substance Use & Professional Conduct (Events)

  • Illegal drugs are prohibited.

  • Members who are dangerously intoxicated, aggressive, or disruptive may be denied entry or removed.

  • Tickets/travel may be non‑refundable where legally permissible.

10) Anti‑Solicitation & Commercial Integrity

  • No commercial solicitation, spam, recruitment, or promotion of competing platforms without written approval.

  • Verified violations may result in immediate account termination and loss of paid benefits where legally permissible.

11) Profile Authenticity & AI Deception

  • Archetypes are welcome; deception is not.

  • Deepfakes, face swaps, or materially misleading AI imagery that misrepresents identity is prohibited.

  • Verified violations may result in immediate account termination and loss of paid benefits where legally permissible.
