Role and Match — Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Role and Match website and member services (the “Platform”), including subscriptions offered via Wix Pricing Plans and tickets/events offered via Wix Events (together, the “Services”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, buying a ticket, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility (18+)

The Platform and all events are intended exclusively for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, purchase a subscription, or attend any event. We may request proof of age and may restrict or terminate accounts that do not meet this requirement.

3. Account Registration & Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Nature of the Services (No Guarantee)

Role and Match provides a curated professional matchmaking and community experience. We do not guarantee matches, introductions, outcomes, compatibility, or any specific results.

5. Subscriptions (Wix Pricing Plans)

5.1 Tiers

We offer subscription tiers such as:

  • Apprentice (free)

  • Executive (paid)

  • Manager (paid)

  • CEO (paid)
    (collectively, “Membership Tiers”).

Tier features may change from time to time. We will provide notice where required by law.

5.2 Billing, Renewal, and Cancellation (BGB § 312k)

Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time using the “Cancel Membership” button in your account area (the “Account Sanctuary”) or via the method shown in your billing settings.

Unless stated otherwise at checkout, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Deleting the app, removing your profile, or ceasing to use the Platform does not cancel a paid subscription.

5.3 Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we may retry the payment and/or suspend access to paid features until payment is successfully processed.

6. Events & Tickets (Wix Events)

6.1 Ticket Terms

Event tickets are sold through Wix Events and may be subject to additional event-specific terms shown at checkout.

6.2 Entry Requirements

We may require a valid government-issued photo ID at entry. If you cannot provide required ID, you may be denied entry. Refund eligibility depends on the event terms and mandatory consumer law.

6.3 Conduct at Events

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee for safety, legal compliance, or serious misconduct. Where legally permissible, tickets may be non-refundable in such cases.

7. Code of Conduct (Member Protocol)

Your use of the Services is subject to our Member Protocol & Code of Conduct: [URL].
Violations may result in warnings, content removal, account restrictions, suspension, termination, and/or event expulsion.

8. Age Verification & Access Controls

We may use age verification measures and restrict access to certain features until verification is completed. If verification fails, we may limit your access to non-sensitive areas or terminate your account.

9. Refunds

9.1 Subscriptions

Refunds (including pro‑rata refunds) are granted only where:

  • required by mandatory law, or

  • due to verified service failure, or

  • due to legal termination for cause.

9.2 Events

Event ticket refunds (if any) are governed by the event’s checkout terms and mandatory law.

10. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may have a statutory 14‑day right of withdrawal for certain purchases. For digital services, you may be asked at checkout to consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that your withdrawal right may be lost once the service begins. 11. User Content & Profile Information

You are responsible for content you upload or share (e.g., profile text, images). You grant Role and Match a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and process your content solely to operate and improve the Services.

You must not upload content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, discriminatory, sexually explicit in a non-consensual context, or otherwise violates the Code of Conduct.

12. Image Rights & Photography

You must not publish identifiable images/videos of other members without their consent. Event photography by Role and Match or partners may be subject to a separate media release presented at ticket purchase or entry.

13. Prohibited Uses

You must not:

  • harass, threaten, dox, or intimidate others,

  • send unsolicited explicit content,

  • discriminate or use hate speech,

  • solicit commercially without written permission,

  • use deepfakes/face swaps to misrepresent identity,

  • scrape, reverse engineer, or abuse the Platform.

14. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, branding, archetype materials, and design elements are owned by Role and Match or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or exploit them without permission.

15. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and/or subscription for serious violations, non-payment, legal compliance, or safety reasons. Where legally permissible, fees may be non-refundable in cases of serious breach.

16. Availability & Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services. We aim to maintain availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

17. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g., intent, gross negligence, injury to life/body/health). Otherwise, liability is limited to the extent permitted by German law.

18. Privacy

19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
